Mitel Live Content Suite is a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use web portal application for personalizing new live content applications and telephony functions on your Mitel IP Phone.
Mitel Live Content Suite delivers the following components:
Live Desktop Portal is a robust and intuitive phone programming web-based portal that gives users a replica view of their phone, and enables them to easily drag and drop content, applications, speed-dials and telephony functions to touch-screen keys on their phone. A user’s view of the Live Desktop Portal is controlled by the administrator, who can control what functionality a user has access to. To avoid confusion and help desk calls, users only see features and applications they have been given access to.
Live directory application allows users to place calls by looking names up in a directory. The directory can use Microsoft Active Directory as a live source of directory entries, or can use data imported from a CSV file. Quickly search for names, and easily place calls by clicking on the appropriate phone number.
Deliver timely and relevant information to all your User Groups. Live Blogger is an HTML application that uses standard Web Log (Blog) accounts to deliver live content to the users’ phone. It enables any user to receive information from a central blogging source. This application utilizes a web server to provide the required functionality.
Applications can include:
|Sales:||Daily sales targets, price promotions, sales incentives|
|HelpDesk:||Problem escalation reports, Hot Spots|
|HR:||Company notice board, shift schedules, Cafeteria menus|
|Operations:||Shift schedules, Daily statistics|
|Executive:||Dashboard view of key objectives, stock prices|
Live Applications are pre-packaged applications that can run on phones enabled with Live Content Suite. The continually expanding list of Live Applications includes applications such as:
Any of the above applications can be chosen and displayed as the screen saver on each user’s phone.
Mitel Live Desktop Portal gives users the ability to display branding applications on their phone that are deployed on their Mitel Communications Director.
Live Desktop Portal gives users the ability to choose the language they would like to use within Live Desktop Portal.
Live Content Suite features the “Multi-User” page which enables an Administrator to copy the programming from one source phone to a set of target phones. Using this feature administrators can program a phone in a specific way, and then clone that phone’s programming to one or more target phones.
Administrators use Workgroups to assign a user the ability to program other phones. This functionality replaces the Key Programmer role from Live Content Suite 1.0.
